Turn Of Phrase - Finished 'Back to Square One' artist books & slipcase

Here it is! The final finished product. 'Back to Square One' phrase, visually portrayed through 2 artists books and held together in a slipcase. The slipcase resembles the football grid system that was used in 1927 and which is repeated on the fold out inside cover on both books.

Both books: Cover screenprinted onto 350gsm green paper stock. Inside pages printed on 90gsm brilliant white paper stock and perfect bound together.

Slipcase: Screenprinted onto the same 350gsm green paper stock, then glued to card to add extra durability and toughness.

Christmas Present - A painting on canvas

Here's a painting on canvas from a fellow Graphic Design student on the same course as me at University of Hertfordshire. She's showing off her illustrative side here, thought I had to post it up as its a nice piece of art :)
Oh and that's me in the middle :P, and Lucie (the girl who painted this) on the left and Lois on the right!

Turn Of Phrase - Slipcase mock-up design

Here are the mock-u designs for my slipcase which will hold the 2 books. I have decided to use the grid system on the cover as it works perfectly with the layout and how it is constructed.
One side of the slipcase shows the first half of the football pitch and the other side shows the second half, so it makes perfect sense to have the cover represent the contents.

Again, this cover will be screen-printed onto that green paper stock; but i will be sticking it to some sort of card or board so that it is durable and strong enough to hold the 2 books. I was thinking maybe mount board, as it is very strong and thin.
